Business cards #

Some printers can print to cardboard type paper, enabling the printing of something along the lines of poor man’s business cards.

Assuming business cards formatted 1050x600 dual size; how to conveniently print many of them on the same paper?

Approach involves packages imagemagick and pdftk.

Create executable ~/bin/montagebizcards:

#!/bin/sh

montage -geometry 1050x600+20+20 -tile 2x5 $1 $1 $1 $1 $1 $1 $1 $1 $1 $1 $2

You can now do:

montagebizcards front.png front.pdf
montagebizcards back.png back.pdf
pdftk front.pdf back.pdf cat output dualsided.pdf
